Confirmation Preparation (High School Age)
Registration for the program is open from May through mid-August. Currently, it is a two-year program running from September to May. There are required parent meetings, activity days (Including prayer and educational experiences), weekly student meetings (Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8 PM). The whole group participates in community service projects,Sunday Mass, a Youth Ministry retreat, and a Confirmation retreat. Sponsors for each Confirmation candidate are carefully chosen and involved in the year-long process, including meetings, service projects and Mass. yOUTH cONFIRMATION PROGRAMPROGRAMA DE CONFIRMACIÓN PARA JÓVENES
Saint John Vianney Confirmation Program is open to youth in highschool looking to complete their initiation process by recieving the sacrament of Confirmation.
The sacrament of Confirmation is the sacrament in which the candidates are sealed with the Holy Spirit and recieve the Gifts which are to prepare them to better Evangelize the word. In the sacrament of Confrimation the baptized are perfectly bounded to the Church and enriched with special strength from the Holy Spirit.
If you have a youth in grades 9th- 12th looking to recieve the sacrament of Confrimation please register them below to our preparation program. Our program meets weekly on Thrusday's at 6:30 pm - 8 pm , on parish campus.
Our program focuses on the faith developement of the youth through scripture, faith sharing and activites that motivate the candidate to ask and dig deeper into our faith,which then allows them to get to KNOW our Lord. By doing this the candidates will know the faith, fall in LOVE with our God and be equipped and motivated to SERVE our Lord in the world. The program includes parent and sponsor particpation and student retreats which will be annouced once enrolled.
The reception of the sacrament is after the completion of the second year of preparation and once all requirements of the program are met. Celebration usually occurs during May-June.

El Programa de Confirmación de Saint John Vianney está abierto a jóvenes en la escuela preparatoria que buscan completar su proceso de iniciación al recibir el sacramento de la Confrimación.
El sacramento de la Confrimación es el sacramento en el que los candidatos son sellados con el Espíritu Santo y reciben los dones que los prepararán para evangelizar La Palabra. En el sacramento de la Confrimación, los bautizados están íntimamente ligados a la Iglesia y enriquecidos con la fuerza especial del Espíritu Santo.
Si tiene un joven en los años escolares 9 a 12 que busca recibir el sacramento de la Confrimación, inscríbalo a continuación en nuestro programa de preparación. Nuestro programa se reúne semanalmente los jueves a las 6:30-8 pm, en el campus parroquial.
Nuestro programa se enfoca en el desarrollo de la fe de los jóvenes a través de las escrituras, el intercambio de fe y actividades que motivan al candidato a preguntar y profundizar en nuestra fe, lo que luego les permite CONOCER a nuestro Señor. Al hacer esto, los candidatos conocerán la fe, se enamorarán de nuestro Dios y estarán equipados y motivados para SERVIR a nuestro Señor en el mundo. El programa incluye la participación de padres y patrocinadores y retiros de estudiantes que se anunciarán una vez que se inscriban.
La recepción de la Confirmación es después de completar el segundo año de preparación y una vez que se cumplen todos los requisitos del programa. La celebración generalmente ocurre durante mayo-junio.
